This year the advent calendars for the children will be filled cupcake boxes which I came across today - no glue, no mess, just slot them together, fill and close over - and they can't even spot what's in them...

Glittery Rainbowwool? Gimme that!!!

Ready, steady - craft...

I have procrastinated long enough. With over two-and-a-half thousand ideas collected on my "craft"-board on pinterest and the first Ch......-Chocolate in the supermarkets (really??? What happenend to Harvest Festivals and Hallowe'en???) it is time I tried my hand at some of them. I have blackboard paint and silver and gold spray at the ready...Time to go collecting materials in the real world.

A loop, fingerless mittens and a scarf out of  200g of self-"patterning" wool. 

Jewel magnets

I used sticky-backed glass jewels and stuck them onto a  square magnet. The "diamonds" without sticky backing will be attached with a hot glue gun.
